Find the threshold

From the datasheet to the entries and thresholds of Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/821, locally on the consultant's Mac.

The profile is real. It is the power threshold of entry 3A001.b.4 between 2.7 and 31.8 GHz: the higher the frequency, the less power it takes to fall within the entry.

Below the threshold

At 8 GHz, entry 3A001.b.4.b.1 controls microwave solid state amplifiers with a peak saturated power output greater than 70 W (48.45 dBm), if the fractional bandwidth exceeds 10%.

Drag the power past 70 W. In the tool this text sits next to the datasheet parameters; the consultant decides.

Peak output power at 8 GHz
50 W47.0 dBm

Outside 3A001.b.4.b.1. The rest of Annex I still has to be read.

First, describe the item.

Paste the description or upload a .txt, .docx or .pdf file. You can also start from a CN customs code or a CPA code.

What it does

Works only on your Mac.

Server on 127.0.0.1, read-only regulatory base, no network calls. Claude API only if you turn it on.

Opens the entry in full.

384 entries and 3,050 sub-entries, with the notes in place and the ones that exclude from control highlighted.

Checks parameters against thresholds.

1,199 candidate thresholds from the consolidated text: the comparison is indicative until you confirm them.

Blocks Y901 when it must.

With a strong signal or parameters above threshold, the “not dual-use goods” declaration cannot be proposed.

Freezes every case with its list.

Reference P-2026-0042, Annex I version, append-only audit log. A revision links to the case, it does not overwrite it.

two uses.

In a civilian radar

Solid state microwave amplifiers power civilian radars: weather, air traffic control, navigation. Alongside, an air traffic control radar antenna at Auersberg, Saxony.

In Annex I

The same amplifier, above 70 W between 6.8 and 8.5 GHz, falls within entry 3A001.b.4.b.1. Listed items need an export authorisation even when the end use is civilian.

What it does not do

No. It proposes Annex I entries and compares the thresholds; the classification remains the exporter's self-classification and the confirmation is the consultant's. Every document it produces is a draft.

No. The EU correlation table is a screening aid: the catch-all clauses of Articles 4 and 5 and the end-use and end-user check still apply.

They are 1,199 candidate thresholds extracted from the consolidated text. Until the consultant confirms them, the comparison with the parameters is indicative and the opinion says so. The tool to confirm them is ready.

No. The server listens only on 127.0.0.1, the regulatory base is read-only and there are no network calls. The only exception is the Claude API, if you turn it on: it sends only the description and the candidate entries.

The map of the 13 Y regimes is checked against EUR-Lex (June 2026). Restrictive measures by country remain alerts to be checked at the date, never conclusions.

The base is rebuilt with the same reproducible procedure. Cases already closed stay tied to the version of the list they were created with.
